Be on the Cover of SUCCESS!

We love to hear, “I’m going to be on the cover of SUCCESS someday!” from our readers. Firstly, it shows confidence and high aspirations; who doesn’t love that? Secondly, it inspired us to take advantage of Facebook’s Timeline feature to launch our new Facebook cover photo that showcases you as the cover figure on SUCCESS magazine on your Facebook profile! We’re proud to give this as a token of thanks to our loyal Facebook fans, in addition to featuring our new and improved website.

If you have a Facebook profile and have not upgraded to its Timeline feature, feel free to read up on it and do so here. Additionally, if you have a Facebook and have not already “liked” SUCCESS magazine on Facebook, please visit our page and “like” us. (We will never spam your news feed. We only share insightful articles, motivational quotes and exclusive content to keep our Facebook followers inspired throughout the week.)

Once you have Timeline activated and have liked our Facebook page, you are ready to be on the cover of SUCCESS in 3 easy steps!

Step 1: Initiate

On the left-hand bar, click on the “Timeline Covers” link.

It will take you to our cover photo installer application. Hover your mouse over the cover photo and click on the link titled “Add cover to my Facebook.”

Step 2: Install

A box will pop up prompting you to log into the Facebook application. Click on the “Log In with Facebook” button.

Another box will pop up, asking you to allow this application to install the cover photo to your profile. Click on the “Allow” button. (Rest assured, this application has been thoroughly tested by the team at SUCCESS. There are no privacy issues with it.)

The application will begin to load the SUCCESS cover photo to your profile. Your last pop-up box will pull up, telling you that your cover photo is ready to use! Go ahead and click on “Change my cover photo”. (Note: This pop-up box gives you the rest of the steps necessary to install your new SUCCESS cover photo, but continue reading if you’d like to hear the directions from us.)

Step 3: Change

It will take you to your Facebook profile. AGAIN, you must have Facebook Timeline activated in order for this to work. In the space above your information bar, click on the button titled “Add a cover” (or “Change cover” if you already have a cover photo). To make the button appear, you might need to hover your mouse around the upper right-hand space above “Update Info,” “Activity Log,” and the gear icon.

After clicking on “Add a Cover” (as shown; if you’ve already used cover photos in the past, it will say “Change cover.”) If you’ve never used cover photos before, a box will pop up, informing you more about Facebook Timeline’s cover photo feature; go ahead and click on “Okay.” Click on the very first option selected, “Choose from Photos…”

Thanks to our handy dandy application installer, the SUCCESS cover photo is already uploaded and ready to go! A pop up box will prompt you to choose from your photos; select and click on the SUCCESS cover photo. Once it loads onto the cover photo space above your profile, immediately click on “Save Changes.” Do not reposition or crop the photo, as it will ruin the magazine cover “effect.”

Success — literally! You are on the cover of SUCCESS magazine.
