Can I do more cardio than 10 mins.? I am 42, 5′2, and 157 lbs, I would like to be 117 lbs. I run occasionally 1 to 2 times a week for about 1/2 to 1hour. I have not stayed on a set program until now. I gave up all alchol, soda, caffine last year and only drink water, juice or lemon water and can’t seem to lose weight. I don’t eat a lot of red meat but love pasta. I have cut out all pasta and I am sticking to your food groups, I am excited about this program working. I have had a lot of stress in my life in the last 8 months and getting more rest seems so simple but I have lost a few pounds since I’ve been getting more rest and not letting the stress get to me. Do you have any other suggestions that can help. Thanks Di

Thanks for this chance to be better looking on my 56th birthday. I need to do this for me. I need a change and believe if I lose weight for my health, it will also help me in my appearance for a job. I am looking forward to seeing the change. I am a mother, grandmother, and recent MBA graduate. Change is in my future.

just saw this challenge and after reading the intro, I’m excited! This will help me meet two of my goals: I will daily prepare and eat healthy foods, especially fresh vegetables and lean meats; I will increase my exercise to 5x a week to tone and strengthen my muscles and heart. since these are big goals for me, I know I need to go slow and not give up. now I need to read the rest of you blog entries.

Few questions -
Is soy milk okay during bootcamp?
I know the cardio is supposed to be 10 min, is it okay to still walk 1 hour with my dogs in the morning before the workout?
Ready to work hard =)

I made the diet for day one, only whole grain pasta, meat, veggies and juice, coffee and green tea…I can do this! Only 11 days to go…but, do I exercise during boot camp?

There’s a basic, full body workout that’s done 3 times a week. You engage in a very light cardio warm-up followed by some low-intensity exercises. This is more “active rest” to help reset the body and burn off excess sugars. You’ll also work on strengthening your body-mind connection as it relates to the basic exercise movements.

Is it necessary to have your book in hand to complete the 90 day challenge?

I am almost 70 yrs old, female, and want to be the best me on my birthday in October ‘09. Does your challenge speak to women as well as men? Thank you for what appears to be a fabulous opportunity for anyone who is willing to catch your wave and move up to new levels in their lives. Having gone through one week of preparing for day one in the challenge I already feel great and ever more hopeful. Thanks…
